Message	OK, I'm about feed up working on this car. I just had the engine rebuilt and the car has been running very well for about 5 to 6 months. All of a sudden, I get lifter tick from the driver side head. I took the engine apart, again, and all 12 lifters were spongy. I refilled every lifter using and high pressure syringe (actually used for injecting glue into wood joint). Lifter filled up and in a very short time, they collapse again. Do I need new lifters or might there be other problems. I have a sneaking idea that I might need new lifter and that suck because they have gone up to $35 per piece.
